I am currently a Service Manager at a busy retail branch for Wells Fargo bank. I have extensive experience in customer service and management. I have managed as many as 10 tellers at a time. My current job responsibilities include coaching tellers to meet sales and service expectations, hiring and training new tellers, overseeing daily branch operations and compliance.
I train employees on cash drawer operations. I research and resolve customer issues on personal savings, checking and lines of credit accounts. I also examine checks for identification and endorsement. I am solely responsible for preparing the branch and coaching the team for our annual audit. Another daily responsibility is coaching tellers on transaction processing and promoting bank products resulting in an increase of teller referrals from 1.5 to 3 per day.
I was responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the teller line to ensure smooth operations such as teller scheduling, cash maintenance and ordering, ATM servicing and transaction processing. I assisted in the training of new tellers on sales, service and transaction processing expectations. As a lead teller my job was to model accurate policy and procedures for other tellers as well as provide on the spot coaching and feedback.
As a teller my job was to efficiently and accurately process transactions while providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all bank policies; as well as uncover customer needs and make the appropriate referrals.
