  • Assist with analyzing and interpreting program data submitted by State agencies in the USDA Food Program and Reporting System (FPRS) and via email; collect, analyze, correct and report datasets of the FNS 828, 834, 874 and 742 reports and Ameliorative Action Report into FPRS; conduct regional edit checks in written and/or statistical format for Regional Office to ensure data accuracy; assist and monitor unit special projects to ensure submissions meet unit goals and key performance measures.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance and/or information from clients, legislators, and other state government personnel, industry representatives, and other organizations, as assigned.
  • Assist with providing guidance, monitoring and technical assistance to state agencies administering the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Snack Program (ASSP), and Special Milk Program (SMP); perform comprehensive regional accountability activities; monitor program requirements by conducting on-site evaluations of state agencies participating in the school meals programs; 8 southeast state agencies.
