ā€¢ Senior Department Leader responsible for the daily safety and security operation for the largest Marriott property in the world with its 120-acre multi-building facility, 2881 hotel rooms, 760,000 sq ft of meeting space, 1500 employees and the draw of over 2 million guests annually

ā€¢ Key contributor in creating and managing an annual department budget of $3.5 million

ā€¢ Senior-level leader over seven direct-report managers, eight indirect supervisors and front-line security team of 100+ full and part-time employees

ā€¢ Oversaw all investigations for both guest and employee-injuries as well all internal and external investigations involving company policy infractions and/or criminal activity ā€“ including such matters as serious assault, fraud and theft. (As part of an investigation, I frequently conducted or was at minimum involved directly with interviewing employees -and sometimes even guests - who either had direct involvement or was witness to an incident.)

ā€¢ Major participant on the project team that managed a two-year long project from initial property analysis and budget approval to complete installation of a $3.2 million CCTV platform upgrade and installment of an additional 270 CCTV cameras property-wide
