Wanting to change careers for the following reason:
I have been living my life as a National and State Certified Lead Pharmacy Technician since the age of 17. I was a firefighter/paramedic for 2 years before a major accident caused me to have over 12 orthopedic surgeries. I was told I would never be able perform my job as a paramedic after the 5 shoulder surgeries, knee donor tendon replacement and lower back lumbar fused. Since the beginning of 2016, I have been in therapy learning to walk again, use my left arm and a few surgeries to fuse my back completely! I have been a house wife since January 2016 while surgeons fixed my back. Due to having so many surgeries, I have constant issues with pain. I was put on horrible high doses of pain medication and was on them for almost 4 years. When the law passed to legalize medical marijuana, I started debating on whether it would work for all my orthopedic and arthritic pain. I went to Tetra Health and talked to a qualified physician about the process and whether he thought it would help. I had numerous questions and he answered everything I asked. I have done nothing but research medical cannabis for the past couple months reading EVERYTHING I possibly can about the medical aspects of cannabis. Being a pharmacy technician, I can't seem to learn enough about the medical background to the cannabis. After 12 years in the pharmacy, I am looking to join a great team at a medical dispensary and learn EVERYTHING I possibly can about what I take and customers use. I look at dispensaries as a modern day pharmacy! I have am a people person who truly enjoys helping others. I have used a couple dispensaries but absolutely love the atmosphere of MUV. I am willing to do anything I can do to show how much I would be a great member to your team!
