Responsibilities included maintenance, packing and stocking of all bulk foods. Responsible for following the merchandising bulk plan by properly
packaging and scaling bulk items, filing bulk bins and preparing wrapping & pricing bulk packages accurately and legibly. Other duties included the rotation of products using code dates and making sure the company's cleaning and sanitation program were followed. Customer service which ensured the bulk items were properly prepared, packaged and presented ensuring the cleanliness of the bulk area at all times. Assisting the Bulk Manager as needed, overseeing the department in their absence and maintaining all equipment to be in safe working condition. Receiving, unloading and stocking merchandise as needed throughout the work night / day. Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs from 4" to 36", for a distanceof up to four feet (4 ft) for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance.
The first duty each day or each project was to see the "big picture" and meet all the objectives in each stage of planning an event. This included the actual planning, design and production for a successful event and a happy client. Managing the project elements of an event by staying within time limits and most importantly on budget.
