As emergency vehicle reached there end of service life I removed all aftermarket equipment from bumper to bumper. The removed equipment was inspected for proper function and a decision was made weather the equipment could/would be used on the replacement vehicle.
The replacement vehicle was striped of all OEM interior parts (seats, trim, headliner) to allow full access of the vehicles OEM wiring chases. An electrical design was created based on the customers needs and supplied equipment. The vehicles were then built and all parts were reinstalled and checked for functionality.
All systems were designed differently as there is no two installs that were exactly the same based on the equipment being installed, make, model, and year of the vehicle.
Some of the equipment I have installed is light bars, sirens, speakers, back up cameras, in car video recording equipment, mobile data computers, electronic gun locks, mobile radios, inverters, emergency warning lights, push bumpers, communication antennas, mobile access points/modems, remote car starters, and on board charging systems.
Work was primarily conducted on law enforcement vehicles.
