  • Negotiate and Influence strategic decision making within the school's Administrator's /Leadership Team. Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development/strategic plan.

Financial Resource Management
  • Maintain a strategic financial plan based on trends and requirements of the school development/improvement plan.
  • Coordinate and monitor school site General Funds, Special Funds, Magnet and Inter-District Funds; Federal and State Grants. Prepare budget transfers as appropriate.

Administration Management​
  • ​Design and maintain administrative systems that deliver outcomes based on the school's aims and goals.
  • ​Oversee the enrollment, transfer, discharge, and readmission process for students and the preparation of related records and files. 
  • Supervise student attendance reports and maintenance of student records, including assessment results, test scores, discipline citations and other related documents(i.e., via PowerSchools, Schoolnet, and SWISS applications).
  • Monitor and analyze student performance assessment data preparing reports as needed for projects (i.e. after school programs, summer school, community based programs). 
  • Ensure student transportation services are met, authorizations and updates are current; and Bus Trip Tickets for school field trips and functions are processed through District Office. 
  • Supervise Requisitions,receive and distribute classroom/office school supplies and materials; maintain ongoing inventory and process invoices.​
  • Coordinate school principal's site master calendar of meetings and events.  
  • Plan and coordinate arrangements for school and community activities; act as liaison between school and other schools, District Office, outside agencies, parents, and the New Haven community. 
Management Information Systems
  • Ensure the school has a strategy for using technology aligned to the overall vision and plans for the school.
  • Consult with District technology lead and other parties to introduce  new technology or improve existing technology for various purposes.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place in case of technology failure.
Human Resource Management
  • Manage payroll services for school staff.
  • Arrange training and conference travel for administrators and staff; prepare related purchase order of payment requisitions; follow up with receipts , invoices, and expense claims.
