My employment history in various fields has taught me very good people skills and sales techniques as well as how to develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with a diverse group of people in any workplace I am put in. I have also worked as an assistant to the Head of the Artistic department at El Paso Community College, where I assisted with many artistic as well as technical endeavors that were undertaken by my employer. This is where I received the bulk of my training in communication as I competed in Collegiate Speech and Debate tournaments around the country ranging everywhere from San Diego to New York. My community college team not only regularly competed against and beat University teams around the country, but at the National Meet my team made history by being the very first Community College to break into the top 20 schools in the Nation overall. I have worked as an actor since my Junior year in High School and have been hired by two professional theater companies in El Paso; The UTEP Diner Theatre as well as having worked the last two years for Viva! El Paso. My experience in communication and performance have taught invaluable lessons on how to connect with people inside a professional setting.
