I am an RRT registered in the state of Arkansas since 2005. I have been a therapist for over 10 years, and have extensive background in Adult Critical Care. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in several sub-specialties including Pediatric/Neonatal care, Sleep, and Non-Invasive Therapy.
I graduated with Honors through the Pulaski Technical Program under the direction of Jim Davis in 2005.
I have spent the largest portion of my career with the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Little Rock. My primary job was critical/emergent care with primary focus in ICU's of a large teaching facility that partnered with UAMS. During employment at Little Rock VA hospital, I also gained extensive knowledge in Pulmonary Function, certifying and qualifying Veterans for disability ratings. I am CPFT eligible, along with my RRT. Prior to my employment with the VA, I spent two years working for a long term acute care facility in Searcy Arkansas. Our primary goal was ventilator weaning and management as well as tracheostomy decannulation. My earliest career was spent at a smaller facility where I was given great opportunity to do various things in my career field. Along with my critical care experience working with adults, I also developed my base knowledge of Infant and Pediatric Respiratory Therapy. I performed several Non-Invasive therapy modalities for ambulatory support in the hospital including EKG's, PFT's, and EEG's. During that time, I spent 12 months of PRN work in Sleep medicine learning and performing sleep studies and titration. I have a working knowledge of using ALICE and Sandman programs for sleep as well as several types of home care Cpap, C-Flex, Bipap machines.

Acute care in all life stages, non-invasive as well as ventilator management, floor therapy, care planning, discharge planning, EKG's, continuing education, following safety protocols, effectively communicating with the health care team, receiving/recording/reporting all respiratory therapy procedures in appropriate patient chart, complying with HIPPA, facility safety and health standards, equipment cleaning and disinfection, ABG analysis as well as ABG equipment ledgers and working knowledge of running controls, trouble shooting, effectively and safely using medical gases within a medical facility.
