I have 6 years of nursing experience. I began in a telemetry unit at Danville Regional. I worked there for 6 months. I then moved to the ER, where I worked for 2 years in the same company. After that I worked in a nursing home for 6 months on the rapid admit and fresh out of the hospital hall, I was not happy with this company. I then started working in the float pool for Duke University Hospital. I worked there for 1 year and some months. I worked at Amedisys hospice for 2 years and some months. I am now still with hospice but with a different company since February of this year. I am also currently in school, I have finished my BSN and I am now working on my Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner. I feel that I am highly trained as well as universally educated.
I don't just care for my patients in a medical aspect, I care for my patients emotional state as well as their spiritual state. I don't just work as a nurse, I am a nurse and I love being a nurse.
I have a current compact state nursing license of which I received in North Carolina. I am also current in a BLS.
