I started at McDonald's when I was fifteen years old and I have climbed the ladder to become a Restaurant Department Manager. In the six years I have worked at McDonald's, I have been a manager for three and have been to many management classes and training to become a more skilled manager for my restaurant. I am currently the People Manager for my store, which consists of generating the weekly crew schedule, hiring and training, cash and bank deposits, inventory counts, control labor and pull reports, and prepare for and manage for inspections. I was the Guest Service Manager which is making the restaurant customer friendly, also was in charge of the point of purchase (P.O.P) for the menu's, and more. I am very dependable and make my job my number one priority. I strive to set goals and achieve them and make the restaurant a more successful business. I take pride in what I do and aspire to become a Restaurant Manager.
I am ServSafe certified, have been to many management classes and completed on-line training. Some classes I attended are, Basic Shift Management (BSM) and Foundations to Restaurant Department Management (FRDM). I have completed many on-line training through the Learning Management System (LMS). I received many certificates which are my ServSafe Certificate, my BSM Certificate and my certification in FRDM and have been recognized by my supervisors often. I have been at the same job for six years so I am very loyal and dedicated.
My responsibilities as the People Department Manager are; to generate the crew schedule, hiring and training, cash audits and bank deposits, run shifts, crew reviews and more. I have received certificates and I am always willing to learn more and grow throughout my restaurant management career. I was also the Guest Service Manager which consists of the point of purchase (P.O.P) for the menu's, making sure the restaurant is welcoming and a great atmosphere for the customers. I had to make sure the drive-thru was labeled and stocked with the right products as well as the front counter. Handled all customer complaints and did everything I could to make the customers visit a better experience.
I am currently enrolled at Miami University to obtain a degree in Business Management in Administration.
