Effectively managed all day to day operations for our Indianapolis IN terminal. I was responsible for starting this operation from the ground up. I was responsible for the overall day to day operations of the transportation department. I managed a driver workforce on a daily basis to ensure that we provided overall superior customer service to our customers.

I worked with drivers through the training process, and ensured that they were up to par before they were released from training. I would conduct ride alongs with all new onboarding teammates to ensure they were fully trained and capable to function in a fast paced and very physical environment.

I was responsible for knowing and understanding all FMSCA DOT guidelines and enforcing those rules on a daily basis to ensure that drivers are following all rules and working in compliance with the laws laid out in the FMSCA guide book.
