I currently am an HRM who partners with the West Region of the United States. I support almost 500 people across 21 states; including California.

In late 2019 I attended through SHRM a legal training in California that was about California Employment Law. Since then, I have been completing training's through SHRM to become HR Certified in California Employment Law.

  • Job responsibilities include employee relations, multi-state compliance; including California. Employee relations, employee development and secession planning, performance management and compensation, talent sourcing, onboarding.
  • Projects: In my first 90 days with Hobart, I was partnering with the Field Operations Regional Director in the South to revamp a leadership training program for entry level managers. This project involved partnering with multiple lines of business. Intended for entry level Field Operations Service Managers.
  • In Oct 2019 I was the leader on a vacation policy change that would go into effect in Jan 2020. This required scrubbing data, partnering with IT to update vacation tracker, as well as develop and communicate the change to 1800 employees across all 50 states.
  • Currently I'm on a team that's made up of operation, HR and Finance to understand and deploy a new payroll tracking system.
  • Currently I'm on a team that was tasked by the VP of Operations to find a way to reduce overtime from 18% to 5% post Covid-19 without risking increasing turnover of Field Techs. This project is still in the early stages of gathering State Compliance data around wage and hour laws, overtime, and alternative work schedules.

  • Hired over 200 people in less than three weeks. From there, I was tasks with onboarding everyone and inputting them into a system called Workbrain.
  • Responsible for payroll, talent sourcing, onboarding, and employee relations. I provided HR support to part-time, full-time non-exempt staff up to and including the store General Manager. This business also hired minors so, I was also tasked with ensuring compliance with the State of Ohio's Child Labor Laws.

During my time at The University of Findlay, I attended an international study abroad in Chennai India. During this time, I spoke at a conference where many high end business leaders within Chennai were in attendance. I formed friendships rather quickly with the students from a university in India who attended the conference as well. As part of this study abroad experience, I was able to visit a manufacturing company as well as a local hospital and gain input on how those industries operate differently/same as in the US.
