Accomplishments
Promoted to Regional Facilities Manager after two years of employment.
 
During a major move project which also entailed a build out of two floors in mid-town, reduced project costs by over $30,000.00 by repurposing network and switching equipment from a closed data center in a building where we were closing the lease.
 
With the move to open seating plans and modern standing desks for newly designed workstations, I seized the opportunity to review and eliminate furniture from our storage facilities reducing monthly storage costs from over $3,000.00 to a few hundred dollars per month.
 
Worked on an RFP project to nationalize our pantry supplies providing volume data and recommended vendors and suggestions to structure the contract to be provided to the winning bid.
 
 Recipient of the Nasdaq CEO Award in 2014.

  • I left in 2004 to work at Cingular Wireless as a facilities manager in charge of the infrastructure of a major switch location in Garden City Park.
  • Operated BAS system, twin UPS power plants, three 1000kw diesel generators, three 180 ton chillers and roof mounted air handlers.
  • Supervised external vendors in the maintenance of all above equipment and continued after AT&T acquired Cingular just prior to 2010.
