One thing that has really encouraged me is watching my family's dedication to their careers. My dad being a Captain with the Highway Patrol and my mom being an Editor, Sports reporter, and now director of a non-profit organization has shown me the importance of doing what you truly love. Growing up watching their dedication to their careers and how hard they have worked to help my family, my community and their employees inspires me to want to do the same. Growing up, they always told me to do something I love and something that will help other people. I can not wait to take their advice and help others around me throughout my career!
