  • Handled all duties of Quality Manager without the title.
  • The factory was ISO 9001:2008 - 2015 registered and manufactured steel doors, windows, lockers, drop in units and gun safes for law enforcement vehicles, parts for Road CLearing Vehicles, and other metal made-to-order items.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the bi-annual ISO audits including preparing according to the audit schedule, acting as lead in all meetings with the auditor(s), writing and ensuring all corrective actions were put in place.
  • Trained the internal auditors, prepared the internal audit schedule, and oversaw the process.
  • Maintained the QMS and rewrote it to conform to the 2015 standards.
  • After extensive study in risk management, I set up a process FEMA program including training the leads in all departments to conduct the procedure.
  • Maintained all documentation, reviewed all jobs before release for production, trained new QA inspectors, and oversaw all duties of QA inspectors.
  • Organized all project components on work tables according to work flow.
  • Monitored processes to avoid overloading and keep machinery functioning properly.
  • Partnered with internal departments to achieve quality project deliverables for all manufactured materials.
  • Facilitated project production by coordinating workflow, tracking production status and reporting and coordinating schedules.
