Worked with the Inbound crew:

• Checked trucks that came in to make sure the products were not damaged in any type of way.
• Some trucks were 100% checked for known problems from certain vendors.
• Emails were sent to vendors for RTV of damaged product.
• If product needed to be kitted together, they were checked to make sure the kits had the correct product in them.
• If product needed to be sent to the Cobbler to be fixed, they were sent to the cobbler then received in.
• If product needed to be sent to the dry cleaner, they were sent there to be cleaned properly to make sure they were in good condition to be sold and sent to our customers.

Worked with the Returns crew:

• Clothes were checked for stains, rips/tears, missing buttons, deodorant, makeup, hair, fur etc.
• If there was anything listed above wrong then they were sent to dry cleaning to be corrected before putting back out to be shipped out to customers.
• Items were damaged out if they were sent back for being damaged, or sent back damaged to the warehouse.
• If items needed to be sent to the cobbler for repairs then they were sent there, repaired and received back in.

Worked with the Outbound crew:

• Audited packages to make sure all items were in orders.
• Made sure the right size boxes/bags were used whether it was to big or to small.
• Made sure the proper packaging was used.
• If the order called for VAS items made sure they were in the order.
• Checked for packing slip.
• Checked to make sure the packing slip and ship label matched.

Picking:

• Removed items from shelves or storage bins and scanned tags.
• Checked inventory and selected products from specific locations based upon customer orders and availability.
• Reduced fulfillment errors by using RF scanners to quickly pick items to proper bins.
• Inspected product description to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Used pallet jacks to complete some bulk tasks and transport items.
• Inspected finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Packer:

• Inspected each item to make sure it matched description that is needed for each order.
• Used Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Used tape gun.
• Used scanner.
• Put items in the correct size packaging, whether it was a box or poly bag.
• Made sure each VAS was put into the order that the order called for.

Shipper:

• Scanned each package and placed the correct shipping label on the cartons.
• Made sure the packages were placed on the conveyor to be put into the correct shipping truck.
• Weighed packages.
• Moved pallets of packages with pallet jack, to the correct shipping truck.

• Helped on the Stitcher by loading pockets, or catching the product as it came off the line to be put in cartons.
• Helped on the folder by loading the paper on the folder, catching the items as they were folded and either stacked them on a pallet or put the items in a carton to be shipped out to customers.
• Helped on the cutter by stacking paper in the jogger and off stacking for the cutter onto pallets or into cartons.
