  • Supervisory Duties: Involvement in the development, implementation and monitoring of mental health services, policies and programs at the facility; Creating the on-call rotation schedule for Mental Health coverage at the facility; Consulting with various DOC employees on an assortment of topics; Manage several databases to maintain accurate records (Master, PREA, At-Risk, Annual Review, Sex Offender, Request Log, Code Revisions, Suicide Precautions, Transgender, and Weekly Rounds); Update EWPs for psychology staff; Complete probationary, interim, and annual Performance Evaluations of staff; Complete Initial Program Descriptions for suggested programs; Complete Annual Program Evaluations of all approved mental health programs; Request and participate in Working Dialogues, as needed; Provide on-going supervision to staff; Manage the Shared Allied Management (SAM) pod and head the SAM Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT); Recommend and facilitate transition of offenders requiring transfers to specialty pods; Manage Individualized Rehabilitation Plans for the sex offender population; and Complete facility inspections and make recommendations for safety and security.
