WHHS Phase 1, Fremont, CA - $115 million Center for Joint Replacement - 34,000-square-foot pre and post surgery facility; Central Utility Plant - 37,000-square-foot central utility plant and laundry; Interim Loading Dock – 4,800 SF loading dock and basement; Underground Service Passageway – 6,000 square-foot, 400-foot underground utility tunnel between the central utility plant and the current hospital,; Utility Connection Project - Connection of the utilities from the new central plant to the existing hospital. Responsible for MEP coordination and QC of construction activities, work in existing hospital facility, start-up and commissioning of new systems.
UC Davis Medical Center, Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion, Davis, CA - New $350 million, 465,000-square-foot Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion addition, constructed to provide space for the emergency department, 24 operating rooms, acute care burn unit, new dietary/kitchen/dining facility, MRI/CT/other radiological services, pharmacy, clinical lab, administration, registration, finance and on-call accommodations. This project included extensive MEP and trade coordination. Responsible for QC of MEP installations, change order management of MEP trades, start-up and commissioning of new systems, coordination with hospital personnel in existing facility.
Responsible for estimating and project management for commercial division. Included design-build management and public works projects. Performed all cost control analysis and buyout of materials and subcontracts.
Carmen Dragon Elementary School, Antioch Unified School District, Antioch, CA. 78,000-square-foot $16 million facility which was the first design-build elementary school in Northern California.
Microscopy Laboratory, Delta College, Stockton, CA - 21,000-square-foot, $14 million facility for electromagnetic field analysis - the Center for Microscopy and Allied Sciences (CMAS) 12 -bay microscope corridor, rooms equipped with their own microscope, isolation or “floating” floor, vibration tables, refrigeration systems, ice makers, hazardous materials hoods and are completely networked with both copper and fiber optical links.
