COURSES TAUGHT AT CLARKE UNIVERSITY
Developed and implemented curriculum for online and face to face teaching
Planning and implementation of campus-wide initiatives to increase retention and planning and implementation of professional development for educating faculty on current advising practices and procedures
Presentations to sub-groups and faculty development to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus
My dissertation research was on the benefits of service learning for youth at risk. While at Clarke I organized and chaperoned yearly trips to The David School, an at risk high school in the heart of Appalachia. I spent one year on a leave of absence form Clarke as interim principal at The David School while conducting my dissertation research. While at TDS, I was tasked with reorganization and conducting a year long self study in order to begin the accreditation process.
