01/2002 to 01/2007 ASSOCIATE PROGRAM MANAGER Sanmina Sci | Manchester, NH, Responsible for day-to-day productivity and management of five logistical aircraft maintenance experts and three DISA G081 help desk personnel supporting AMC requirements. Specifically charged with development/management of AMC's Consolidated Air Force Technical Order Program funding requirements, provided support/direction to field level units on technical data policy/procedural issues. Results: - Represented AMC tech data requirements on the ground breaking data based driven C-130 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual Program, C-130 Avionics Modernization Program, and the C-5 M Books. - Designed/developed AMC's Maintenance Automation Roadmap defining aircraft maintenance key processes and user requirements in the areas of communication, supply, maintenance information systems, tool and support/test equipment, flightline vehicles, and technical orders. - Implemented a new electronic distribution system for technical data. Will Save the Air Force over $5 million per year by not producing paper tech data to the field.
01/2001 to 01/2002 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR HOUSING FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY | City, STATE, Assists the Associate Director of University Housing Facilities Management with the operations of University Housing Facilities, including financial management, enforcement of all policies and procedures and staff development. Directly responsible for grounds and custodial personnel. Results: Convinced senior management of the need for total cost, production, and supply chain visibility. Led the search and presented the cost benefit analysis leading to the selection of a total enterprise management information system for the Housing Facilities Management Department.
01/1998 to 01/2000 CHIEF ACQUISITION LOGISTICS BRANCH | City, STATE, Led a team of 15 certified acquisition professionals. Command manager for acquisition logistics ensuring requirements were developed and achieved in aircraft production, maintenance and support equipment procurement and supply chain functions. Responsible for the development of all acquisition logistics planning documents and performance based logistics efforts. Program Manager for the C-17 and the C130J Maintenance Training Device programs. Direct impact on 175 programs valued at over $65 B. Results: - Implemented a "commercial off the shelf" engine structural integrity program that could be used for the C-17 engine. Saved AMC $87 million dollars. - Managed the $1.4 billion logistics bed down of the C-130J aircraft at Kessler AFB MS. - Directed the implementation of the technical order verification plan to verify C-130J unique maintenance tasks. My team verified over 98% of the tasks 30 days ahead of schedule. - Saved AMC over $1 million by directing the C-17 SPO to procure two C-17 engines from the Flight Test Center. Provides true fidelity to the training environment for maintenance personnel. - Directed the development and execution of the C-130J Ground Based Data System test plan. Test revealed significant shortfalls and design flaws in the collection of C130J structural health data.
01/1995 to 01/1998 EXECUTIVE OFFICER INFORMATION SERVICES HQ DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY | City, STATE, Responsible for the development and implementation of all of the Chief Information Officer's policies in support of the Information Technology Management Reform Act. Managed all operational activity and directed the workflow management system for CIO functions and processes. Results: - Orchestrated efforts with senior executives to develop a Corporate Information Management Strategic Plan aligning each business area's MIS solutions to the corporate strategic goals.
