Production Line; Front Half, Debone, Pack-out. Quality performance checks, Knife Room TechCase Farms － Morganton, NCI have worked production lines, and mastered each cut as well as x-ray process and pack-out duties. I have been assigned to quality checks, where I ensured the scales were in correct operating order, as well as the quality of cuts, waste management, and product were acceptable. For the past two and a half years, I have maintained position in the Knife Room, where my duties focus on overall production. I maintain all tools needed to perform cuts on the line, to include keeping track of all knives, scissors, arm guards, chain gloves, floor maintenance tools, and pressure washing tools. I also manage line leaders and their usage of such tools. I record and maintain appropriate records for QA department, as well as floor records of the location of any tool used at any given time. I ensure all tools are returned in operating order, report, repair, and prepare for further use. I maintain my own machinery, correspond with maintenance as needed to ensure top working order. I am responsible for sanitary conditions in my work area, and that all utensils are presented to meet or exceed USDA regulations. I work with Supervisors, as well as Management in order to provide smooth transitions of tools, and correspond with QA supervisors as to any issues or concerns. I ensure that the line leads are present, and obtain the proper tools needed in order for them to run their lines efficiently. I work closely with line workers to ensure they are satisfied with tools needed and of any areas that need attention. I am responsible for knowing the location of over 200 tools at any given time, and ensure they are in their proper place, returned to be cleaned, sharpened, repaired, or replaced as needed. In the event my direct supervisor is absent, I assist in her duties by completing role call, and reporting any absences to management.
