Regional Representative for Large Pricing Initiative ProjectĀ
- Work on a collaborative team with Regional Product Management, Analytics, and Research & Development to build a pricing model and tool for a companywide underwriting initiative.
- Train regional partners on pricing model methodology and how to use and interpret tool to determine pricing level.
- Send out a monthly communication to region interpreting results for Business Auto and BOP products.
- Provide continued support to Sales and Underwriting around initiative and changes to strategy
Team lead of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) team for the Business Auto Product.
- Lead a cross functional team of Pricing, Research and Development, Analytics and Field Product Management in collective projects geared toward improving and reporting on Business Auto products.
- Present team findings to commercial senior leadership and implement suggestions across the company
Manage 7 states territories, with multiple lines of business, totaling $150 Million in Direct Written Premium.
- Responsible for Business Auto, Small Businessowners, Property, General Liability and Worker's Compensation products for assigned states.
- Review pricing, design features and competitiveness while creating individual state business strategies for long term profitable growth.
- Analyze and review financial results, product profitability, and business mix.
- Use findings to implement changes in rate reviews and target markets.
- Collaborate with pricing department on regional premium and loss trends to improve indication process and normalize yearly trends.
- Work with staff partners to file rate reviews with states Departments of Insurance and answer regulatory questions around rate selection and book profitability.
Lead role in adopting new corporate strategy initiatives and educating regional associates on changes.
- Adopt new business models, analyze impact on regional book of business and develop a plan for implementation across region.
- Develop and deliver new product training to regional partners as appropriate, take a lead role in the coordination and implementation of new products and product changes across sales, underwriting, and agencies.
