I spent my years at Montevallo studying Theater and English in a secondary education stand point. In the theater I learned to adept to different people and views points. It was a major that made you think on your feet. With secondary education I was trained to handle being in a classroom in a teaching position.
While there I also participated in the purple side theater. A group of students who would compete with our gold side counterparts during the homecoming week. I was part of their theater and soccer team.
It as a valuable experience for me and one I hope to be a part of again. I am currently an administrator of a special interest group. It has helped me not only with my communicational skills and conflict resolution but also helped me in forming better time management skill.
