Police Officer with 30 years in law enforcement, including assisting citizens, investigating accidents and conducting routine patrol. I have been assigned to a variety of duties over my career including, N.O.P (Neighborhood Oriented Policing) Program, (CAD) - Communications Division, (D.B) - Detective Bureau, CSTF - Crime suppression Task Force, FTO - Field Training Officer, DPU - Directed Patrol Unit/Traffic Enforcement.
Experienced in a large variety of Police Function from the Patrol level through the prosecution of cases. I was assigned to Oakland County Task Force (C.S.T.F), Jan / 2002 through July / 2004 and worked numerous surveillance cases, resulting in several large arrest and convictions of violent criminals. I attended and completed training for the Field Training Program and became an FTO in fall of 2004, which I have trained recruits and prepared them to become successful and safe patrol officers.
Assigned primarily to the patrol division where I have a large amount experience dealing with the public and handling all types of Emergency and Non-Emergency calls for service. I have had the training and assignments where I have possessed a large amount knowledge in law enforcement. I currently am assigned to the DPU unit (Directed Patrol Unit / Traffic Enforcement) handling a variety of traffic related duties.
I was Assigned to the North Shepherd precinct where I was responsible for patrol duties, handling all types of Emergency and Non-Emergency calls for service. I enforced local, state and federal laws and routinely experienced high volumes of violent / criminal activity throughout the city of Houston.
