During this period, the end of course testing for mathematics was implemented and I attended many of the meetings addressing the implementation.
Used a variety of teaching methods such as lectures, discussions and demonstrations and first use of a tandy laptop with overhead data screen.
Participated in regular training courses to keep up-to-date with new teaching methods and developments in the field - a lot of computer training.
Established positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and administrators. We had a math/science building and worked as a team during parent-teacher meetings.
Taught 5 math classes. One of the classes was called basic math and I created the curriculum for that course. There were only 2 math teachers and we worked together to create a computer lab using apple computers. Myself and another teacher helped the senior class to raise money and went to Florida for our class trip.
Established positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and administrators.
