Pharmacy Financial Reimbursement Specialist Technician
– Perform all duties required of a pharmacy
technician, pharmacy month end reports for accounting purposes, insurance
reconciliation, pharmacy procedure manual organization and updates, pharmacy statistical
reports as needed, FSI software management and training, assist Pharmacy
Managers, apply/maintain applications of third party contracts, coordinate monthly
pharmacy staff meetings with Director, prepare monthly pharmacy staff meeting
agendas and minutes, attend quarterly P&T meetings to prepare meeting
minutes for Director and Physicians, direct and assist with annual physical
inventories and other duties as assigned.
Pharmacy Technician Supervisor –
Perform all duties required of a pharmacy technician, oversee other pharmacy
technicians work schedules, time-off requests for coverage, direct and assist
with annual physical inventories. provide
exemplary customer service to CHC patients and co-workers.
Pharmacy Technician – Performed all
duties required of a pharmacy technician. Such as data entry of patient
information and prescription information, fill and verify prescriptions, place
and receive inventory orders from drug wholesaler and other various vendors to
provide excellent customer service to CHC patients.
Pharmacy Assistant – Performed all
duties and tasks allowable by state laws as a pharmacy assistant while
receiving the necessary training to become a pharmacy technician.
Key Accomplishments:

Started as a Pharmacy Assistant and obtained a
Pharmacy Technician license within the first year of employment through the
pharmacy technician-in-training program.
- Helped nurture and maintain the Patient
Assistant Program while performing regular technician duties.
- Took initiative in learning all aspects of providing
supporting financial pharmacy reports and maintaining them.

Managed the scheduling of thirteen pharmacy technicians.
- Obtained certificate for the smoking cessation
program in collaboration with the Pierce County Health Department.
- Obtained certificate for the completion of the TCC Center
for Business and Professional Development Supervisor and Leadership Training Program.
- Assisted in implementing policy and procedures
for various programs in the pharmacy.
- Developed a new hire pharmacy orientation and
training outline.
