manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Utilizing batch logs,
(SOP) standard operating procedures, and work instructions under cGMP guidelines I would double check material calculations, check and prep process lines and equipment prior to charging reactors. In controlled operating conditions I work up ingredients by introducing various components (acids, caustic and process water) to reactors; obtaining a proper (pH) power of hydrogen of solution for crystallization of base (narcotic) allowing separation of mother liquor (solvent wash) when centrifuging; from that point dry the narcotic utilizing various dryers (Double cone, Tray and Helical vacuum screw).
