Professional Profile

I'm MSGT ROBERT C LLOYD JR. Computer Technician with background in imaging, printer installation, memory installation, hard drive installation, motherboard replacement and general troubleshooting. Seeking challenging position with opportunities for expanding upon existing skill base.

I entered the Air Force Jan 2,1970 as an C-130 and KC-130 Mechanic and a Recruiter. During my divorce I became psychoticI in 1987 and eventually got a medical but honorable discharge :Sept 9, 1988. Yeah Air Force. Thats why I don't have twenty years of service. After discharge I got a CIS bachelors degree in Business Computers Cum Lade with a 3.75 GPA at the University of Baltimore n just two years: This was enabled because all my CCAF : Community College of the Air Force .credits were honored. Next I studied for my Masters MIS: Masters in Information Systems and System Analysis. I was having medical problems while taking my masters degree but was able to graduate in 1995 . I am a life member of Betta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Fraternity. When at college the VA paid for tuition, books, supplies and a monthly allowance. This was enabled through Chapter 31. After my BS degree, in 1990, I got a job at the Department of Treasury in HyYATSVILLE MD (near DC) on a program that enables Federal Agencies to pay/buy with funds from the Treasury by inserting a special encrypted plug in security board into the PCs and supplying an external modem. My problem was they programed in C++ language and I only knew COBALl, Fortran, and Focus; and Bachman Diagrams. So I was to keep Inventory of the Boards and Modems; but I wasn't doing a good job of it. They fired me and I tried to kill myself by jumping off a 40 foot train bridge. My right ankle was crushed and the hospital took one and a half inches off my right ankle, so I wear special shoes. I wore an erector set on my right leg with pins through my calf and bolts that were adjusted weekly. It took me over a year, two years in total, to learn how to walk. I also broke my right wrist which was pinned; same for right and left elbow. I also have a pin in the left side of my face. After treatment at Perry Point VAMC MD Day Treatment Center I worked a work incentive Therapy job at the Biomedical Lab at Perry Point t VAMC MD where we did daily ounds and fixed dental equipment Flow Meters, Blood Pressure Machines and repaired and built PCs My boss was Wallace Adams. I worked from 1999 to 2002. They said I did a good job.. Next I moved to Garrettsville, OH and married Anita Mar 8th 2003. I have two computers: a SYSTEMAX desktop AMDx2 3mg memory windows 7 twelve years old and a two year old HP Laptop 17 Intel 8meg memory with windows 10. I check email daily, check my bank accounts and use FACEBOOK I have a 12 year old SYSTEMAX desktop AMDX2 computer with 3meg memory and 1TB HDD with Windows 7, and an HP 17 laptop Intel 8meg memory with Windows 10. My wife has an HP laptop with windows 8.1

Additional Information
  • Aid, Air Force Dos and Don't's, Important Personnel names in Chain of Command and Historical memorization along with the Air Force tree structure: Squad, Flight, Wing, Group, and Numbered Air Force. When marching one is placed according to height. The tallest 4 are Squad Leaders. To qualify for entrance one has to take the ASVAB: Aptitude test (some schools offer it in school which is a good practice since by taking it again, if a year has passed, you can do better, like me), and take a physical. Sometimes a medical consult is needed. The test is given at MAPS in Cleveland, OH. The Air Force has strict height and weight limits; no fat farm in Basic. The Recruiter asks about any police records, even if expunged. If you are highly motivated the recruiter can submit a waiver. All must sign a statement about not taking any Illegal Drugs. At least they did when I was recruiting. A Background Check is done for all, as this, the physical and the ASVAB test results determines what sensitive jobs one qualifies for. One can join specific jobs if available or select one of four areas: Administration, Electronis, Genereal and Mechanics. I went for the Maintenance Area. Some jobs, like broadcasting require a special test. I had a female in Belair MD pass it and get the job. Recruiters are not allowed fraternization with female applicants. I may be out of date on reqiurements. Check with an Active or Reserve Recruiter for the latest Information. Recruiters are positive but don't tell untruths knowingly. If a member of CAP: Civil Air Patrol, or JRROTC: Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps or selecting certain jobs one can join with advanced rank, or at least they used to. You can be an outstanding Basic Training Graduate. If you are; the Air Force could select you to go TDY to your home with TDY pay to assist your recruiter. They will probably want you to visit high schools and talk about why you like the Air Force, and what being an Air Force Airman means. Next I was an outstanding graduate from C-130 Turbo-Prop Aircraft Maintenance Technical School at Sheppard AFB, TX. Thats about it. Just a mind game over

I am a Free and Accepted Master Mason, 32nd Degree, at Lodge 246 and a member of the Eastern Star Cresent #7 both at Garrettsville, Ohio I have paid $500 in new Uniform Items from AAFES: Army Air Force Exchange and medals from Medals of America. I am trying to thank the Air Force for all its done for me. I enjoy trying to be of service. I am very glad that I joined the Air Force. Its the best
  • While at Baltimore two years after jumping, I drove an hour each way to Perry Point, MD VAMC, where I got stabilized by the Day Treatment Center Program and after another year participated in Incentive Work Therapy Program making $1.50/hour at the Biomedical Lab. We went on rounds daily, fixed hospital equipment: dental equipment, flow meters, and blood pressure machines, and computers. My boss: Wally Adams, said I did a good job while there; but didn't hire me full time like others did. While in Incentive Therapy, I made a PC, and used it to connect with Anita Rineer using ICQ: I SEEK YOU, Online. She became my Soul Mate. I called her long distance using the federal phone line for hours. After two years of calling/ texting: She asked me to come visit. In June 2002; I went to meet her in Garrettsville, Ohio where she had a house. I had already told her about my medical problems and she was OK with it. We also showed each other pictures. In July, 2002 she came to Baltimore to meet my family: my parents and brother: Ralph. She loved them all. In August 2002, I moved to be with her. I bought her a $10,000 engagement ring. We married in Catonsville, Md March 8th, 2003. She spent $10,000 on the wedding. All her family and mine were there; even with a big snow storm. She has been a big help to me. She takes care of all my Medicines and goes with me sometimes to my hosipital appointments. The VAMC: Veterans Affairs Medical Center/hospital at Wade Park in Cleveland, Ohio changed my meds several times. In Dec 2013 thru Feb 2014, I was hospitalized and all my meds were changed/titrated. All the bad side effects like hearing voices and symptoms of Parkinsins shaking, falling down), and seeing things that weren't there are now gone. I have a Cardiocom, connected to the Internet which asks questions about how I'm doing every day. I'M better than ever; now with the my new medicines. Yeah VA. Both my children supported and stuck by me throughout. My daughter Terrie has a BA from Villa Jullie College, MD in teaching and taught Math at 7th and 8th grades at Aberdeen Junior High School, MD, and was very well admired by students and staff. She was awarded for doing a good job. She recently moved to Kingmanm, Arizona because her husband, Norman, had a new job there. She now works at a hospital. She has three children. The oldest: Jessica joined the Marines at 17 with parents consent in intelligence because her boyfriend joined a year before her. She wanted to be an MP but was too short. They married in Los Vegas, NV December 2014. My daughter also has two boys: Travis and Harley, both in grade school. My son Robert III is a CIO, Chief Information Officer, with a six digit income. He got a BA from Beloit College, Wi where he met his wife and an MBA from the University of Colorado, all education paid for by the VA,. He also now lives in Goodyear, Arizona and has two young daughters: Sophie and Olivia. His wife, Tracy, is a Social Worker who determines wheather or not to take children away from their parents.
