Even though I worked from home for most of my years, I have always ran businesses from home successfully. I'm excellent in customer service and relations. I'm a positive effective communicator which I find to be a valuable skill in all my business affairs. I have successfully ran 3 businesses in the last 10 years but do to a divorce after a 20 year marriage I parted ways with my husband's restored appliance business. I still have my jewelry business but I am needing a reliable steady income as I start a new life for myself. I had put the business on hold for a year directly after my divorce and have recently resumed fulfilling that dream. I was an administrator with a charity group that had over 1000 members and covered Shelby and Tipton County. Most of our members were in a lower income bracket but all worked together to make major positive differences in our community. We organized relief plans for any hardship circumstances for families such as house fires, theft, etc. I organized a birthday ministry and made sure every child within our group's families had 24 cupcakes and a birthday gift if not otherwise afforded. We also had a Christmas ministry that successfully served 700 children of low income families ensuring 3 gifts for each child for Christmas. I lead organizing this project and reached out to individuals and businesses that could help and it was very successful. Our charity group won an award for friendliest float in the Millington Christmas parade. I stepped down as an administrator when I relocated for a year after my divorce but came back to Memphis to stay.
