At Barrier Reef Pools I started out as an employee at the manufacturing plant.
My starting position included trimming pools as they came off the mold. Installing hardware and loading pools using a Lull or Ghael telescoping lifts on flatbed trailers for shipment and delivery.
After being promoted to installer my job responsibilities were to assist with the installations of pools in the field. My job responsibilities were to plumb pools and use the correct material used to pass all inspections required by the state and to run all electrical wire and conduit and is all required material to pass state and or county inspections. Operation of heavy equipment for excavating the site and tracked loaders and skid steers for grading the property.
As a team lead position in the field it was my responsibility to prep site for excavation. Calculate the correct depth height for pool and height and fall for concrete after installation. Train and over see the work of the employees I was appointed over and make sure we maintained a safe work environment and maintained a standard of quality work and performance.
Operated forklifts and order picker lifts to pull product for teams operations area.
Perform equipment checks at the beginning of every shift and report any problems with equipment to maintenance.
Stage product in designated areas to be loaded onto production line for shipping.
Maintain a fast pace but careful performance to minimize damage to product to keep production high.

At fibervisions I worked in 3 separate areas in spinning.
The operation starts in the upper level of spinning on the mezzanine where the polymer is melted and pulled through jets down to the lower level of spinning where the polymer is cooled and spun onto spools and is pulled to the cans which are moved to the staging area for second process the yarn goes through where is stretched and colored and stored for shipping and distribution.
Job responsibilities on the mezzanine were to keep the yard flowing to the spin floor spools.
Job responsibilities on the spinning floor was to keep the machine running and keeping the yarn on the spools if the spinning floor went down we had to get every individual spool back to pulling and spinning the yarn in very timely manner to keep production going.
We also had to maintain a clean and safe work area and wear all PPE while in the operation areas of the warehouse . We also Locked out tagged out machines when not using the machine or if they were down for maintenance.
We also held weekly safety briefings and meetings. Working safely at Fibervisions was a top priority.
