Owner of Jessica's Painting Empire Today Belleville, IL,
  • I was in charge of getting the jobs, bidding them, dealing with customers was the biggest part. You listen to what they are wanting and must always cater to them. No jobs without customers. Explaining to them what needs to be done to accomplish the job they are requesting to be done. And coming up with a price that is fair and will insure you get the job but isn't to low as to where you won't profit or even worse lose money if you bid the job to low.
  • I was in charge of hiring and training workers as well as supervising them on the job site and keeping everyone on track.
  • I was in charge of getting supplies and preparing everything for our jobs
  • I was in charge of managing the money and paying everyone accordingly. I was also in charge of getting the checks from the home owners. Knowing when a deposit was necessary and when it wasn't, etc.
  • More than anything though my job was to paint and work as hard and as fast as I could to get the job done. To make sure it was done professionally the right way and that when we were done it was perfect and cleaned up better then when we got there.
