Experience
10/2020 to Current Owner/ Fingerprinting Technician Cushman & Wakefield Inc | Camarillo, CA,
  • Over a year ago, Myself and two of my friends started Fingerprinting Nevada
  • We provide background checks for the Gaming Board, Nursing Board, Contractors, Real Estate, etc… All these Divisions require background checks for all their employees upon hire and they will continue to get fingerprinted every 2-5 years
  • My daily work life consists of Customer Service, Answering Calls, Rolling the Fingerprints, Receiving Payment, and Submitting the Prints to the Department of Public Safety(DPS).
09/2019 to 09/2020 Associate Waste Pro Usa, Inc. | Nashville, TN,
  • IN-N-OUT, is the most popular West Coast burger chain, they are known for their excellent customer service, burgers, shakes, etc… If you are a real In-N-Out fan, I can tell you everything on the secret menu! During the time I worked with this company I learned a lot about how to interact with customers from the moment I stepped out of my car in the parking lot
  • A sister company of theirs is Disneyland on how they train their employees, you have to pass two interviews to even get an interview with the General Manager, and no one gets hired higher than a Level 1, everyone starts from bottom in this company and works their way to the top
  • My first few months I started off with the morning shift at 10am and only worked 4-6 hours a day
  • My job requirements were simple at first
  • They teach you how to operate their cash registers, clean the dining area, bathroom checks, mopping the floors, and safety precautions
  • A Level Two associate is not much different from level one, you get trained on how to sort the sauces, keep the burger boards stocked, how to handle all the orders for the customers inside the building, they call this position the “counter”, and how to help the window associate (Corner) with their fountain drinks for the drive thru
  • Level three was my favorite only because you started understanding the daily requirements and a better understanding where everything was in the store, and got 3 new positions
  • The new positions were Back Pay, which is the first window you come to and pay for your order
  • Corner, it is the second window where you get your food, beverages, and condiments
  • The last position was Handheld, we have to take all the orders from the drive thru speaker, but the majority of the time we were taking orders outside, and greeting the customers in their cars
  • Leaving In-N-Out was a choice, I wanted to take a chance and build a business that I can call my own.
05/2019 to 09/2019 Cook/Food & Beverage Server Callville Bay Marina | City, STATE,
  • Callville Bay Marina is more than 550 miles of pristine shoreline located in our wonderful lake here in Vegas, which is known as Lake Mead
  • I took this job because I just moved back home from Arizona, and Callville offers housing for all their employees
  • It was my “first summer”, as the employee’s would say
  • I was hired as a part time employee but was always on call because I lived on site
  • I would start work at 7am, turn on all the stoves and ovens for the day, organize the walk-in fridge, start prepping the food for the day, open the register, clean the lobby, and open the snack shack by 8am
  • This job was one on one with all the customers from ordering, paying, and me cooking their food
  • I cooked for over 50 people a day, and on weekends it would double
  • I loved the environment but I knew this would not be what I wanted to do with the rest of my life
  • At the end of the shift, I would have to clean the whole kitchen, restock the fridge for the next morning, deposit the money, help the other kitchen with cleaning, and make sure everything was locked up before leaving my kitchen.
07/2018 to 04/2019 Shift Lead Cafe Rio, Cafe Rio Mexican | City, STATE,
  • Grill is known for their motto, “fresh food, made fresh.” During this time, I was trying to start over after college
  • I moved to Arizona, where I had no friends or family
  • Cafe Rio helped me grow my independence and gave me the confidence that I have today
  • Starting at Cafe Rio, I was working the front line, cashier, and lobby cleaner
  • Over time, they noticed my leadership skills and started training me to be a Shift Lead
  • I was sent to their management class after 6 months, and completed in 3 weeks
  • A shift lead’s job requirements are learning how to cook everything on the menu from scratch, how to make the scheduling, being able to talk down an upset customer, fixing the small things throughout the day, making sure everyone comes to their shift, or calling in people to help cover the shift
  • Being a shift lead has a lot more responsibilities in the store because maybe one day they could also become a General Manager for their own Store.
