I am an American Nurses Credentialing Center Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the state Massachusetts, USA. I have a post-graduate certificate in advanced-practice forensic nursing from Duquesne University (PA), 2020; Doctoral Degree from Chamberlain University and College of Nursing in advanced-practice nursing and health care system leadership, 2016; Master Degree from Regis College as a certified nurse practitioner, 2014. I am the owner and CEO of the outpatient practice, Beautiful Mind Psychiatric Mental Health Services, LLC (2016-current). I am a Massachusetts, certified Suboxone treatment care management practitioner; Registered Provider in the Certification of Medical Marijuana; & Anger Management certified provider. My practice's primary focus is to provide a compassionate setting in which psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner interns can engage in the mental health populations' therapeutic care treatment. More than ten psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner students have completed their practicum in my practice since 2018 (as we treat a range of populations, including adolescents to senior citizens, and we treat with medications and provide psychotherapy as needed). My interns are from universities such as Regis College, Walden University, The University of Massachusetts Lowell, Liberty University, and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). My personal work experiences include Certified Nurse Practitioner treatment care of patients in the acute psychiatric and forensic hospital settings as a Locum agent. I have worked with the geriatric population in nursing homes, adolescents in acute hospital level of care, and veterans in the Combat Operational Stress Control (COSC) unit in the Army Reserve. Previously, I have worked as a bedside medical-surgical registered nurse and pulmonary treatment in a long-term acute care hospital (LTACHs). I have worked in the detoxification of substance use-dependent patients while stabilizing their mental health conditions in a dual-diagnosis setting. I have worked with the community outreach patient-aligned care teams (PACT), school nurse at a Charter High School, and Army-Medical Care of Service Members (AMEDD/Nurse Corp) in field hospitals, and humanitarian services overseas (Haiti and Romania).
