From the age of 14 I've been in the workforce. It started at that age when the local car wash was being built in Riverside, CA. I would walk down there each day after school to talk to the owner. When it came time to hire he found out that I was only 14 and I was told to come back in a year with a work permit. I didn't like that at all, I wanted to work! So, after the opening I continued to show up to that car wash but not to talk to the owner. I was there to pick up trash in the parking lot, greet customers as they arrived, clean the planter area out front and whatever else I saw that needed attention. Nobody told me to do this, not one time was I given advise from my drug addict parents, nope, not one person. It's just something inside. It's just in you!
I've been lucky enough to share that story with my son which he implemented when getting his first job. He was hired on the spot!
I've lived my life by one single word and that word is "Intention". My intent is real, my intent is true and I intend to be the best, do the best. Simple as that. Once that mindset is there then everything else just falls in line.
Thank you for taking the time to look over my resume. I've always worked for myself and I currently own a restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. I've put some great people in place to run the day to day and I am looking to secure a job outside of that. I'm eager to surround myself with like-minded individuals that share the same intentions and want to fucking grow! Yeah I said fuck on my resume, that's just me. Trust me, I know business and exactly how to handle myself in different situations.
The Stackz CoRancho Cucamonga, CAOwner06/2014 to Current
We leased a run down building in Rancho in June of 2014. Having been in the restaurant business before, I knew that I could make this place something great and people would come. For six months I did everything from drawing my own plans, dealing with Alcohol Beverage Control and the City of Rancho all the way down to the full TI. Not one contractor was hired. With the help of my business partner and some family we fully TI'd this restaurant with a goal of opening January 1, 2015. We did open that day!
From saw cutting the concrete, jack hammering and installing plumbing and designing and building the kitchen to the last roll of paint that went on the wall. We did it with our own two hands.
The restaurant is still open today. We serve hundreds of customers daily and have a great team behind us to keep it successful.
SIERRA PACIFIC ELECTRICAL CONTRACTINGRiverside, CAVise President01/2010 to 12/2013
My Father-in-Law saw what I was doing with my company and finally convinced me to assist him with his operations at Sierra Pacific. I started a Low Voltage division within the company and within the first couple of months we won contracts with the City of Murrieta, CA where we completed miles of directional drilling to feed the City with thousands of underground fiber optic cables all running back to the City Hall. Those fibers connected the City Hall with a web of PTZ traffic cameras which they still use today.
Aside from the LV division I continued on to handle most of the back office operations as well as taking on the management and scheduling of a crew that consisted of over 50 certified electricians.
Merk, IncPhelan, CAOwner01/2005 to 12/2016
As the owner of Merk, Inc. I handled most of the business end as well as completing the field work with my crew. We were voted the best company in 2006 by Crosscom Communications. We were invited for a weekend in Chicago to receive that award. Moving into the later years we've worked with some large companies such as Panda Express, Kate Spade, and Lucky Brand Jeans. Working with Panda Express's top IT team in Rosemead, CA we had to compete with more than five other companies to win a contract to upgrade each of their then 1282 stores across the Nation, including Puerto Rico. That upgrade consisted of hard drive swaps in the POS system, managers workstation upgrade and a completely new network rack system. We successfully completed all stores and continued to support them long after the project was complete.

Well with my son heading off (actually this week) to Fort Benning Georgia for Army Ranger Airborne training and my daughter is in her first year of college. It's just me and the wife now. At this point in our lives we love to travel and see new places around the world and love to work hard when our feet get planted back on the stomping grounds.
I am looking to work with a great team and surround myself with great people that want to grow. My son and I share the love for all types of cars, new and old, especially exotics. The lines, the craftsmanship and detail that goes into them is just simply amazing!
For work/fun I enjoy creating videos, flying my drone and learning new things with my DSLR camera. Although I'm new to photography I am eager to learn more. I have all of my own gear and would be happy to use it for the job if needed.
I am open to different positions. Open to part time or full time. Open to working for the company or along side the company on an as needed basis. I'm not in need of any sort of medical as my wife is a Principal in the Snowline School District and holds all of our medical insurance.
I'm just a simple, easy to get along with dude that loves family, business, a family within the business and cars!
If you made it this far down my resume then I appreciate the time you took out of your busy day to read it. If you have any questions please let me know and I will be happy to answer them. I look forward to hearing from you and the team.
