OwnerJul 1981 to Mar 1992 Barrels Boxes & More LLC. － Bolton, CT
Created from start up a company selling barrels, drum, containers and environmental equipment and supplies to the Dept. of Defense, Government and the general military industrial complex companies.
As a start up I have worked every possible position within my company from shipping and receiving, to strategic planning, contract negotiation to information technology systems creation and programing.
There is no one within my company doing a job which I have not personally done myself in its creation.
Reason for selling the business
In order to create a business in an industry with the likes of giants like Halliburton and others a niche was needed, the two options available to me were native american or with the help of my wife, woman owned small business status, there was greater opportunities for sales with the latter.
Never even contemplating my wife would ask for a divorce after 30+ years of marriage, now I can no longer ethically or legally keep my Government contracts as my company is now no longer women owned and that was the lions share of the business, I could attempt to reestablish under native American but at this point in my life I would prefer to sell and follow my passion.

As senior deacon for friendship Tuscan Lodge 145 Manchester CT this year alone I've had the honor and privilege of being Chairman/Organizer/ facilitator for numerous charities and community outreach programs, working as liaison with other organizations andhouses of worship on community projects and fund raisers covering a broad spectrum of community needs as well as Medical fundraisers for individuals and children in need.
