After I graduated with a Bachelors degree, I was immediately promoted to Assistant Manager and was a Manager within two years. I acquired many valuable skills including time management, training and managing employees, forecasting sales, payroll and customer service. While working as a manager, I completed my Masters Degree in Organizational Management which developed me into a more effective manager and team leader.

After my son was born, I made a difficult and scary career change. I decided to take ownership of my father's laundromat. I have successfully run this 24 hour business and now I am ready to take on another challenge.

Owner and operator of busy laundromat. I am responsible for all components of the business including inventory, maintenance, accounting and customer service. I have implemented a wash, dry and fold service as well as corporate accounts. Every day I use problem solving skills to correct problems as they arise. I made necessary budget costs during the 2008 economy recession while maintaining honest and affordable services to my customers.

I managed several stores over 14 years. I was responsible for inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, sales and forecasting. I worked closely with all types of people and was a team leader and mentor. I was effective in cleaning up the "problems" of many stores and I determined staffing needs. I screened, interviewed, hired and trained numerous employees. I motivated employees and identified their strengths. I used this real life position while obtaining my Master's Degree.
