Accountable to Operations Officer and CO/XO for all updates on IRT mission planning and execution. Lead Navy Reserve member on all multi-service IRT planning teams for 4 IRTs in FY12, participating in multiple planning meetings and conference calls, exercise participation, personnel preparation and orientation and report writing after each mission.
Managed a detachment of 65 enlisted and officer personnel--the largest detachment in Operational Hospital Support Unit San Diego. Responsible for the operations at a branch medical clinic on drill weekends, completing medical readiness examinations on 100-200 reservists each month.
As a Navy Reserve Nurse Corps Officer, worked in a variety of clinical settings at Naval Medical Center San Diego, then as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at branch clinics aboard Naval Station San Diego, Naval Air Station North Island, Marine Corps Recruit Depot and was mobilized for one year as a nurse practitioner in the Family Practice clinic at Navy Hospital Camp Pendleton, working with Marines and their dependents from Sep 2006 to Sep 2007.
