Professional Summary

I am a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience in offering comprehensive patient care throughout our facility. Working well with diverse patient population and fostering trusting relationships to ensure safe patient outcomes as well as optimal patient experience is very important to me. As a nursing professional with a demonstrated background of success in emergency patient care I've become skilled at efficiently coordinating with healthcare professionals to advance patient care. Being agile and responsive to dynamic patient needs and environmental conditions is paramount in the conditions of the emergency department. I am team-oriented and reliable with clear verbal and written communication skills and sound clinical judgment.

In 2019 I moved into a supervising role offering individualized leadership to every department in a small way. This experience has taught me so much about what it takes to be a great leader and how to trouble shoot a broad range of obstacles. I have become very familiar with our policies and procedures, as well as using the chain of command. In 2021 I jumped feet first into the world of hospital Risk Management and will continue to embrace any challenge that the role presents me with. Supporting healthcare professionals, patients and families in their most vulnerable moments has been meaningful and fulfilling.
