I've been working hard my whole life. I started out as a very young boy working with my father as a landscaper and continued doing that until I got my first real job at Brighton Dairy Queen when I was a freshman in high school. Every type of job I've had involves doing lots of different tasks to complete an end goal, working at a fast pace to achieve maximum efficiency, and cleaning up after myself once I've finished my work. I've always thrived in this type of work environment, especially when I was able to take control and responsibility over the work being done. I loved being able to meet new people, getting to know them in order to build a respectable relationship, and eventually train them in food safety and food service at Brighton Dairy Queen when I had received my shift leader role. Delegation, leadership by example, customer-service, fast work pace and a positive attitude are my most valued skills that I've ever learned, and I'm ready to apply my skills and take charge of whatever comes my way.
In high school I was a member of the National Honor Society or NHS for short, which is an extracurricular club that focuses on community service such as trash pickup, special events, and creating fundraisers to donate to charity. I was an active member for 2 years of high school, and received awards for my achievements at ceremonies and at graduation. I was also the editor of the Brightonian newspaper for BHS and an Honors and Advanced Placement student.
