I have worked as a Retail Sales Associate in two separate environments. I have experience working at Justice and most recently, I worked in Merchandise at a store in Walt Disney World. I love to work in retail where Guest Service is always the number one priority. I enjoy providing individuals with the customer service that they deserve! While working in Walt Disney World, we had many different kinds of circumstances that we worked under. I worked under long shifts, and very popular holidays where the store was flooded with guests. As an alumni of Walt Disney World, I will be returning in the Fall for another internship with Disney. However, I will be going to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and I will be doing a Photography internship. I hope to eventually after I graduate, get a position with Disney in their Events careers. I also plan on volunteering for some Music Festivals later this year in the Southern California area so I may become familiar with the companies I may soon want to work for.
I worked in Human Resources at Monterrey Security in Chicago as an Event Planner. I helped plan concert events and scheduled thousands of people to work the shifts that were needed. My experience includes filing, spreadsheets, and making multiple phone calls to schedule people to work.
I was also working Merchandise at Justice and worked a lot on the floor, as well as working Greeter and Register as well. I am very familiar with helping the Guest find what they are looking for and how to make shopping the best experience for them.
I worked Merchandise at Big Top in Storybook Circus. At the Circus, we do a rotation of roles between Production, Floorstock, and Register. There are many variations of experience that I have received from working here. It can be tough when you get unhappy customers, but it is not impossible to shape up their day. I've learned so much about Guest Service from working here, and most importantly a whole new level of patience. However, having patience with the Guests brings a smile to their face and that brings a smile to mine.
