I am a talented and resourceful individual with 23 years of manufacturing experience at HTI / TDK. My first 11 years were spent in the Eau Claire assembly plant, and the remainder on the Trace / TSA+ components side. I have a wide range of technical skills and abilities that have been polished over the years. My hard work has consistently yielded positive results. Working together with various manufacturing and engineering groups has been so beneficial for me, and has given me a solid understanding of how to best support the goals of our company. My leadership skills have especially grown in recent years since taking on the responsibilities as Building Maintenance Supervisor at St. Mark school, and MST Lead here at TDK. I know what it takes to be a good leader, I have the respect of my peers, and I feel that I am the best person to fill the role of MST Supervisor at this time. My initial vision for the MST group would support the idea of having a closer working relationship with engineering personnel in order to accomplish development work, and important testing more quickly. I would also create a training plan that would help new MSTs develop their skills quickly to meet the demands of a large uptick in roll starts. Thank you for considering me for this position!

- Determine strengths and weaknesses of individual MSTs. Provide them with feedback to build them up, and set goals to improve through regular discussions, and annual performance reviews.
- Research, document and escalate issues to higher levels of support when unable to resolve issues within the MST group.
- Keep manufacturing informed about issue resolution progress and provide updated expected times of resolution on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with support team to develop effective solutions.
- Document repairs using good technical writing skills. Communicate direction to other crews when validation of repairs extends beyond current shift.
- Explain technical details in easy-to-understand terms to individuals in various job positions.
- Consistently respond to manufacturing phone calls / emails within the expected time frame.
- Work with engineering to make process improvements based on results from test requests and machine data.
- Maintain composure and patience in the face of stressful situations. Help others on my crew do the same when emotions run high.
- Use real data and sound problem solving techniques to aide in troubleshooting issues, and set direction for corrective actions.
- Change HVAC filters every 2 - 3 months, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems as needed .
- Perform basic carpentry tasks, including installing shelves, hooks, light fixtures, speakers, smart boards, and misc. equipment to meet teaching staff needs.
- Check / maintain thermostat settings throughout the building to ensure heating / cooling zones are operating in a cost effective manner.
- Handle routine cosmetic updates such as repairing / painting classroom walls, and replacing outdated or worn out fixtures.
- Coordinate regular maintenance such as shampooing carpets, waxing and stripping floors and deep cleaning during shool breaks.
- Respond to staff maintenance requests through a manual logging system.
- Manage the landscaping committee by approving new plantings, gardens, and projects to beautify the outward appearance of the campus.
- Provide regular lawn care including mowing lawn, spraying weeds, and spreading fertilizer.
- Provide regular snow removal on side walks and around entrances.
- Coordinate the annual inspection of fire and alarm systems to comply with fire, carbon monoxide and other safety requirements.
- Assisted in helping the school gain accreditation status by meeting or exceeding all building maintenance standards.
- Responded to calls from manufacturing and completed basic troubleshooting tasks to arrive at solutions.
- Provided real-time support to engineering when asked.
- Became the vision focus tech on our crew when Vision Machines first arrived at our assembly factory.
