I have been in many lines of work and can successfully say that I have completed and excelled at what was asked of me from my employers. I have always started small and worked my way up: starting from a hostess and becoming a server; starting as a daycare teachers assistant and becoming a daycare teacher; and, starting as a cashier and becoming an assistant general manager. A capable assistant general manager is expected to support their general manager and team in high frequency hours. They will assist with daily sales reports, keep track of labor percentages, cost of good, ordering, and scheduling all front of the house employees. They will have great customer serves skills and handle difficult situations, showing staff members how to handle these situations if they arise.
It's important to be coachable while also taking the initiative to grow in any workplace. All these skill and experiences have helped me come one step closer of becoming a registered nurse and applying these skill towards that goal.
