Cmc - Machine Operator/Laborer
Shreveport, LA, 08/2020 - 09/2020

While working for Yoder and Sons i ran the bandsaw and the chop saw. I had to know how to change the blades and chains when needed, also knowing exact amounts of productivity for each day and making sure we cut enough to meet those requirements per day. I was put on both machines with another coworker on the other end of the line. If i was cutting one day he was catching, and if he wanted to we would switch to give each other a break of the same side everyday. After we would cut the pieces of lumber needed and the scrap I would have to take the scrap that we couldn't salvage to a designated spot in shop until someone came to load it.

As i only worked there for a short amount of time my work and dedication to making sure the job was done right and on time of deadlines i was given the job of a foreman for my crew.
