Operated different machines on a daily basis. Including LIM's (Liquid Injection Module) and Heated Stamp press ( machine was set to a certain temperature, and used the heat to stamp the product)
Performed minor mechanical work ( if a plastic piece got stuck inside the mold i would put the press on manual, open the door take out whatever was causing the problem and get the machine running again.)
Made sure material was getting fed to the machine properly
Visually inspected each part the mold made.
Packaged the part accordingly, and put the finished box onto a pallet to be taken back to shipping
On occasion i would use a pallet jack and take the skids back into the warehouse.
Kept the surrounding area clean of any debris, including any melted plastic or parts that had fell onto the floor and no longer usable.
Personally trained new employees so they would have a basic understanding of the machine they were assigned for that day. And what to expect if a problem ever occurred.
