Strong team player that is very athletic and pretty well spoken. Easy to get along with and I like to complete my tasks. I'm competitive and can also be a charmer. Strong and athletic as I've said. Looking to work hard and long term at least until school or I decide to do football. Never missed a day of work as far as i'm concerned because I simply need the money so I show up for the job. Experience
North Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Inc. - Machine Operator
Charlotte, NC, 04/2019 - 10/2019
  • At Carcoustics we were required to rotate daily (as far as my cell went) the other cells rotated every 2hrs or did whatever. Due to the daily rotation, the responsibilities always changed. There were 4 different positions that we had in my cell and each position had a different responsibility.
  • Position 1 involved making blanks in which making blanks involved putting the foam on a handclad table on top of the gray material and pulling the black material down on top, adding another piece of foam with about a two inch separation and aligning it with the line in the table in which the saw blade ran to cut the material. I would then staple two corners which would connect the gray and black material, correctly loaded it into the machine, and pressed the buttons to close the machine. I also changed out the material when it ran out (in which I had help doing of course because it took more than one person to do).
  • Position 2 required you to unload the machine once it opened and place the foam with the now pressed out parts on the cooling table in which you then had to take out the parts.
  • Position 3 was required to press the button on the cooling table to activate the cooling fans and help position 2 take out the parts on the opposite side of the cooling table. Position 3 was also required to control the screen as far as resetting it every hour and keeping up with the hourly checks on the board and paperwork, then filling out the work order at the end of the shift.
  • Position 4 was required to put all the parts into totes and putting the correct labels on the correct tote (left, right, and bonnet), position 4 also asked the material handlers for material, foam or anything they seen was needed or that we were running low on.
Trc Companies, Inc. - Laborer, Assembler, Packer
Bakersfield, CA, 10/2017 - 12/2018

At vast, I knew how to do everything in the warehouse except cut the plexi glass on the table saw. It was a very small business of about a little over 20 workers maybe. I would cut different types of aluminium extrusions on two different chop saws, I also chamfered the ends of certain extrusions at a 45 degree angle. I cut flocking, which slid into the single pieces of frame giving the glass more support when it slides in the frame. I also built the frames and cut the gasket pieces that went along the back of the frame to prevent leaks. I drilled holes in ones that needed hinges and also put the hinges on, and I also helped pack the frames into boxes. There were lots of other jobs or things to do that I had also learned to do. I literally did it all or had at least done it all except cut the glass. I helped unload the trucks maybe once a week or so because we had to push the extrusions off the truck because they came on rollers and weighed anywhere from 1000-1500lbs sometimes maybe a little more.

Kings Hawaiian - Packer and Palletizer
City, STATE, 01/2017 - 09/2017

I worked on the line and packaged the bread as it came down the line, I also fixed the tape machine if it broke down or got jammed. I worked in palletizing where i stacked the boxes up as they came back and id operate the plastic wrap machine. I also kept the line stocked with fresh boxes as they ran out and helped bind up the cardboard in the cardboard machine in times when it needed to be changed.

Contreras Construction - Construction Laborer
City, STATE, 06/2013 - 01/2016

Contreras Construction was a family business in which I helped my stepdad frame houses. We had a few workers along with my brother and I. My responsibilities varied from climbing up and nailing certain things, helping them hold up the roof while they nailed it in and hold up siding and lots of other things. I would pass up things that were on ground level that they needed as well as doing runs for my stepdad. I mainly worked on the ground or at certain heights due to my fear of heights. I sometimes cut things with the saws so I could get a better feeling for cutting as well. I was also playing football so due to my strength and other things, I would pick up pieces of siding and flooring and plywood, 2x4 and any other pieces of material and lift it over my head to pass it up to my stepdad, brother, or other workers. Anything that I was asked that I could actually do. I also worked in contracting with a family friend and demolition/remodeling. Ive done everything inside and outside of a house along with "side jobs" such as building doghouses. large office desk for the house and anything my mom and/or stepdad wanted to build.
