I am a self starter, always looking for things to do and help out anywhere I can. I work 3 12 hour days and I am always on the go to maintain every machine in the facility.
I am a fast learner, and not afraid to ask questions to add to my knowledge of understanding how to operate a machine, fix machine etc. Example of this is when I first started on the Equipment Tech II, my group lead told me that on average it takes about 1 and a half year to know all machine in the facility. It took me only 5-6 month before I was given the OK to roam solo without a trainer supervising me.
I work well with peers or even on my own. I do my best to get things done with quality
I look for ways to improve on the work I do. There was a time we had to replace some broken covers on and Axial Machine. It was going to cost 200 per cover and I suggested we utilize our 3D printer machine in our building to print the covers, which saved Plexus thousands of dollars.
I am really computer savvy. We use programs like Excel to track inventory log, work load log. JDE is one of the biggest system in our facility. It tracks and store all our machine parts, how we spend money on parts. My group as Equipment Tech II, we are in charge of tracking what comes in and out of this system.
