I have been employed in public safety for the past 19 years. I have served as a 911 Dispatcher, 911 Lead Dispatcher, Tactical Dispatch Team, Part time Police Officer. I have been involved in almost every facet of Public Safety in one way or another.
I have been serving as the Tactical Dispatch Team Leader for the since 2008. In this position I serve as the senior Tactical Dispatcher responsible for the Tactical Dispatch team. Our team responds with our Crisis Containment Unit (SWAT) for barricaded subjects, high risk warrant service and other needed situations. Our team also responds when requested by shift commanders for both man made and natural disasters to work out of the ILEAS Command bus and run tactical communications from the field.

Illinois LEADS (law enforcement data system) certified, search daily into several state and local systems such as LEADS/NCIC/NLETS for information related to law enforcement. Created, organized and maintained files, daily case notes and electronic databases.Organized office schedules and maintained relationships with necessary agency contacts. Emergency medical dispatcher certified.
Firearms/ASP Baton/OC training Certifications. Maintaining order and protecting life and property; conducting routine foot and/or vehicle patrols; responding to routine and emergency calls for police assistance, responding to assist in natural or man made disasters; issuing traffic citations; questioning individuals at the scene of a crime; informing individuals about their rights as suspects; subduing unruly individuals; and preparing written reports involving criminal and/or civil offenses.
