Throughout High School I participated in baseball, basketball, football, men's fastpitch softball, FFA, and student council. Throughout High School I also coached fifth and sixth grade basketball for three years and helped coach at a variety of summer camps. While in high school I was able to participate in the State High School tournament for basketball 3 times. In two of those times participating we won the State Tournament and one time placing second. At Central Lakes College I went for my Associates of Arts degree, while there I also played college basketball for two years and baseball for one year. While in school I also helped and participated in Special Olympics. I also coached sixth grade basketball along with being an assistant basketball coach for the Central Lakes College Men's Basketball team. After Central Lakes I decided to transfer to the University of Minnesota Morris to continue my education in Elementary Education as well as my basketball career. I continued playing basketball for two years while in the Education program. While there I also was a student assistant softball coach for the University's women softball team for three years. I also played one year of soccer for the university as well. Beyond athletics I was also part of the special olympics program at the University. I would even help at Morris high school with tutoring students, help with reffing athletics, and being apart of the community. I later took on the seventh grade boys basketball coaching job while attending the University for one season. Throughout the program at University of Minnesota Morris I was able to student teach at a variety of schools and grades. My first was a 12th grade social studies class at Morris high school. I later then student taught in a 3rd grade classroom at Morris as well. After that I was placed at West Central where I helped in a 6th grade reading class. Lastly I was placed at Sauk Centre Elementary in a 2nd grade classroom where I finished my student teaching. When I wasn't at school I would move back home and work for Pastian Concrete for the entire summer as well as playing faspitch softball in Freeport MN.
