We Operate a two sided machine, and I run the bottom side. The Laminator is massive, about 100ft or more and about 2 stories tall. I run different board sizes from 4' by 8' to 5' by 12' and laminate a different patterns onto them using extreme heat, huge parts and different types of glue. We run the panels and they end getting cut up and put into RV's or Mobile Homes as shelves, cabinets, or walls.
I have many parts that I can adjust to make things run correctly. Its also very dangerous and I am carful not to lose any fingers, eyes, etc. I'm constantly dealing with moving parts, running and bending over, getting into tight spaces and making sure the product is ready to be packaged and shipped. I can also run a couple other machines around the plant that aren't as complex doing different things. I also drive the Forklift for our line when needed. I have quite a lot of experience with that.
Iv had experience with driving forklifts for almost four years now. I move around huge bundles of wood from 32 stacks to 200 stacks depending on the width of the panels. I also load the lamination lines and unload finished products from them.
It al moves at a pretty fast pace. theres not a lot of time to get of the lift truck unless its moving things around to set down more panels.
Learned how to run multiple machines.
